A Coincidence?

Just heard that SPR will not be using the indelible ink in this election after all despite having spent more than RM2 million to buy the inks. It has something to do with security and legality or whatever. SPR must be really shorthanded. They only managed to announce the need to stamp the nomination papers 3 days before Nomination Day (the eve of the weekend in Kelantan, Trengganu and Kedah) and now they only realised that using the indelible ink will be a threat to security (3 days before Election Day).

Coincidently, the IGP also announced that nobody will be allowed to stop buses ferrying voters into Kelantan and Trengganu.

It is my sincere hope that those given the responsibility to serve the people remember that there is God Almighty and they will be answerable for their actions to Him. On my part, I will NEVER forgive these people if their actions were to infringe my rights unless they seek forgiveness from me personally.

Hussin,
The reason they won't be using the indelible ink is that 4 blokes were purported to have bought the same ink from overseas. The ink must be made in Thailand since those caught were from the border states of Perlis and Kelantan. For once our police seems to be very fast in their ability to track up the buyers and they manage to catch them.
Earlier the SPR told us that the use of the indelible ink isn't mandatory as you can sign a form indicating the objection to the use of the ink.
Now what to do with the two million ringgit worth of indelible ink? Stupidity at its worst.

Sdr Husin,
Catching those blokes at the border was just an excuse. For all you they were th one who planned it to be that way. I do not want to guess what their intention is but it is all done with bad intent, for sure. Taking about coincident, we actually spoke about it over lunch today with Ustaz Nazri, remember?

I will not be surprised if by Friday afternoon SPR will come out with another another announcement to say that the transparent boxes will not be used for reason only known to them. Probably they will say that if the ballot paper is not folded properly the voters will be able to see what was casted by the those before them. To avoid misunderstanding among voters it would be best to have the old boxes back. Wallahualam.
